The main objective of IB Economics courses is to improve the students' perceptions of the nature and scope of Economics.
IB Economics Courses are given as HL or SL.
The greatest difference between the levels of HL and SL is the extent of SL students' economics. In the external assessment SL students have to write two essays and HL students have to write three essays. For internal assesment, students have to make a survey with the individual economy and then present their reports on the topics they have learned.
